Refund & Cancellation Policy

What you can cancel, when, and exactly what comes back — written plainly so you can check it before you pay rather than after.

1.The short version

  • Before we start work — cancel for any reason, full refund.
  • While work is in progress — cancel and pay only for the submissions already made.
  • After delivery — no refund, but we fix our mistakes free for 30 days.
  • If we fail to deliver what your package described — full refund, no argument.
  • Rankings are never grounds for a refund. We sell the work, not a position in Google.

The rest of this page is the detail behind those five lines.

2.Cancelling before work begins

E-mail [email protected] with your order number before we have made the first submission and you get 100% back. No reason needed. In practice this window is usually a day or two, because orders enter the queue quickly — the sooner you write, the simpler it is.

3.Cancelling while work is in progress

Citation building is performed listing by listing, and each submission is real work that cannot be taken back once a directory has it. So a mid-order cancellation is settled pro-rata:

  • we count the submissions completed at the point you cancelled;
  • we charge for those at your package’s per-listing rate, plus any add-on already carried out in full;
  • everything else is refunded, and we send you the report for the work done so you keep the value of it.

Extra-fast delivery is refunded in full if you cancel before the order would have been delivered under the standard turnaround.

4.After delivery

Once an order is delivered it is not refundable, because the service has been performed and the listings are live in your name. What you get instead is our correction commitment:

  • any listing containing an error we made is corrected free of charge for 30 days from delivery;
  • any submission rejected for a reason within our control is resubmitted, or replaced with an equivalent site.

See clause 7 of the Terms of Service for the full revisions position.

5.What counts as delivered

An order is delivered when we send the report containing, for each site in your package, either a live listing URL or documented evidence of a completed submission awaiting the directory’s approval. If the report does not cover the number of sites you paid for, the order is not delivered and clause 3 or 6 applies instead.

6.If we do not deliver

If we cannot deliver what your package described, you get a full refund of the undelivered portion. That includes:

  • us missing the stated turnaround materially and through our own fault;
  • delivering fewer sites than the package promised;
  • us declining the order after taking payment.

Delays caused by waiting on information or verification from you are not covered here — the turnaround clock pauses in that case, as set out in clause 5 of the Terms.

7.Pending, rejected and removed listings

Directories are independent. They approve on their own schedule, and some reject or later remove listings for reasons no supplier controls — a category they have stopped accepting, a duplicate they detected, a change of policy, or the site shutting down.

Pending listings are not a shortfall. A submission documented with a screenshot has been performed, and that is what the package covers. Where a package quotes an expected proportion of live links, that figure is measured at delivery.

If a directory rejects a submission for a reason within our control, we fix or replace it under clause 4. If it rejects for its own reasons, we will normally still replace it as a goodwill gesture, but a refund is not available for the acts of a third-party site.

8.Rankings are not grounds for a refund

We do not guarantee rankings, traffic, leads or revenue, and we say so before you buy — on the pricing page and in clause 6 of the Terms. Citations are one input among many into local search, alongside your Google Business Profile, reviews, proximity, category and website. A refund request based on position in search results, or on results being slower than hoped, will be declined. A request based on work we did not do, or did wrong, will not be.

9.EU consumers: your 14-day withdrawal right

If you are a consumer resident in the EU — buying outside your trade or profession — you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract without giving a reason.

Because our service is usually wanted immediately, checkout asks you to expressly request that we begin during the 14-day period and to acknowledge that you lose the right to withdraw once the service has been fully performed. If you give that consent and we complete the order, the withdrawal right ends. If we have only partly performed, you may still withdraw and pay a proportionate amount for what was done.

If you do not give that consent, we hold your order for 14 days before starting, and you may withdraw at any point in that window for a full refund by writing to [email protected].

Most of our customers are businesses, and this right does not apply to business purchases.

10.How to request a refund

E-mail [email protected] from the address on the order, with:

  • your order number;
  • your business name;
  • what you would like refunded and why.

We respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method — we cannot send them anywhere else. Your bank then typically takes a further 5–10 business days to show it.

11.Chargebacks

Please talk to us before disputing a charge with your bank. A chargeback freezes the order, costs us a fee whatever the outcome, and takes months to resolve — whereas an e-mail usually takes a day. If you do raise one, we will respond with the order record, the submission log and the delivery report. We reserve the right to suspend work and to decline future orders from an account that charges back a delivered order without contacting us first.
