“You” means the person or business placing an order. By placing an order you confirm you are authorised to act for the business whose details you submit.
2.What we provide
We sell three families of one-time, done-for-you services:
- Citation building — manual submission of your business to local directories and citation sites, in the volumes set out on our pricing page (25 citation sites up to 500 citation sites).
- Citation cleanup — an audit of the listings that already exist for your business, and, on the fixing tiers, correction of incorrect and duplicate listings up to the number your package states. See citation cleanup.
- Google Map stacking — map, pin, geotagged media and driving-direction work around a single business location.
- Add-ons — optional extras selected at checkout, such as NAP cleanup, unique descriptions, keyword research, additional citation volume, or extra-fast delivery.
The package contents, price and turnaround shown at the moment you check out are the ones that apply to your order. We may change our packages and prices at any time, but never for an order already paid for.
We also publish free tools — the local SEO report, the map rank checker, and the order-form auto-fill. These are covered by clause 10 and are not part of any paid order.
3.Placing an order
Choosing a package and completing checkout is an offer to buy. A contract forms when we confirm your order by e-mail. We may decline an order — and refund it in full — if we cannot service it, for example where the business is in a category directories will not accept, or where the details supplied cannot be verified.
All prices are in US dollars and are one-time charges unless a page says otherwise. They are not subscriptions and will not recur.
4.Delivery and turnaround
Each package states a turnaround. For citation building and map stacking that is currently between 2 and 10 days depending on volume. Those are business days, and the clock starts when we have both your payment and the business information we need to begin — not at the moment of checkout. Add-ons that state additional days extend the turnaround by that amount.
Citation cleanup is different, and slower.The audit is ours to deliver and is turned around in days. The fixes are not: where a directory does not allow an instant claim, the change can only be made by that site’s own staff after we raise a request. We chase every open request weekly, but we cannot compel a third party. Cleanup packages therefore state a turnaround of up to 35 business days, and in practice a minority of listings take longer than that or are refused outright. Those are reported to you as unresolved, with the reason — they are not counted as fixed.
An order is deliveredwhen we send you a report containing, for every site in your package, either the live listing URL or evidence of a completed submission awaiting the directory’s approval — screenshots in the latter case. Login details are included where an account was created for you.
Directories approve at their own pace and some hold submissions for days or weeks. Where a package states an expected proportion of live links, that figure applies at the point of delivery; pending submissions that later go live are a bonus, not a shortfall.
If we are going to miss a stated turnaround we will tell you before it expires and give you a revised date. Where the delay is ours and material, you may cancel for a full refund under our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
5.What we need from you
The work depends on accurate information, and citation building in particular is only valuable if the details are consistent everywhere. You agree to:
- provide accurate, current business details — name, address, phone and website (“NAP”) — that match your Google Business Profile and your own site;
- respond to verification steps that only you can complete, such as postcards, phone or SMS PINs, and confirmation e-mails sent to your business address;
- supply any logo, images or descriptions you want used, and confirm you have the right to use them;
- tell us promptly if your business details change while an order is in progress.
Cleanup orders ask a little more of you, because some listings cannot be reached from outside your own accounts. Social profiles (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn) and, occasionally, your Google Business Profile need either your access or five minutes of your time to apply the changes we specify. Directories that charge a subscription before the data can be edited are identified with their cost and left to you — we do not pay third-party fees on your behalf, and those listings are outside the scope of the package.
If we are waiting on you, the turnaround clock pauses. Where an order is blocked on information for more than 60 days we may close it as delivered to the extent of the work completed.
6.What we do not guarantee
We are explicit about this because the industry frequently is not. We do not guarantee rankings, traffic, leads or revenue. No one can. Search results are controlled by Google and other providers, respond to hundreds of factors outside any supplier’s control, and change without notice.
What we do commit to is the work itself: the submissions in your package, done manually, documented, and reported.
We also do not control, and are not responsible for:
- whether a third-party directory approves, rejects, edits, delays or later removes a listing;
- a directory changing its terms, introducing a fee, or ceasing to operate;
- changes Google makes to its Business Profile policies, its ranking systems, or its map products;
- the effect of work carried out on your business by anyone else, before or during our engagement.
7.Corrections and revisions
If a listing we submitted contains an error we made, tell us within 30 days of delivery and we will correct it at no charge. If a submission was rejected by the directory for a reason within our control, we will resubmit it or replace it with an equivalent site.
Changes to the information you originally supplied — a new address, rebrand, or a different set of target sites — are new work, not a revision, and are quoted separately.
8.Acceptable use
You may not use our services to:
- list a business that does not exist, or submit an address you are not entitled to use — including virtual offices presented as a physical premises where the directory forbids it;
- promote anything illegal in Portugal, in your own country, or under the terms of the directories concerned;
- impersonate another business, or list a competitor’s details;
- list more than one business location per package unless you have purchased coverage for each location.
We may refuse or stop work that breaches this clause. Where we do, you are refunded for work not yet performed.
9.Intellectual property
The listings we create are yours. Accounts we open on your behalf, and the credentials for them, belong to you and are handed over on delivery.
Everything else remains ours: this website, our curated directory lists, our reports and their format, our tools and the software behind them. You may use the deliverables of your order for your own business freely, but you may not resell or republish our directory research as a product of its own.
You grant us permission to use the business information you supply for the purpose of carrying out your order — which necessarily includes publishing it on third-party directories, since that is the service.
10.Free tools and estimates
The local SEO report, the map rank checker and the auto-fill on our order form are provided free and as-is. Their output is indicative: grid results are point-in-time samples, and auto-filled business details are extracted automatically and may be wrong.
Always check auto-filled details before submitting an order. An incorrect phone number propagated to 200 directories is expensive to undo, and the confirmation step exists for that reason.
11.Payment, invoices and tax
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Orders are paid in full at checkout before work begins.
Prices displayed exclude VAT. As a Portuguese company we apply VAT according to where you are and what you are:
- Business outside the EU — no EU VAT is charged.
- Business in another EU country with a valid VIES VAT number — no VAT charged, reverse charge applies, and you must account for it in your own country.
- Portugal, or an EU consumer — VAT is added at the applicable rate and shown before you pay.
A VAT invoice is issued for every order. Give us your VAT number at checkout if you have one — we cannot re-issue an invoice with a VAT number added after the fact in every case.
12.Cancellation and refunds
Cancellations, refunds and the statutory withdrawal right for EU consumers are covered in full by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.
13.Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under Portuguese law — including the statutory rights of consumers, which are unaffected by this clause.
Subject to that, our total liability arising out of an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of business, loss of rankings, or loss of data.
We are not liable for the acts of third-party directories or search engines, as set out in clause 6.
14.Confidentiality
Credentials and non-public information you give us are used only to deliver your order and are not disclosed to anyone else, except the directories required to complete the work and the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy. We may reference the fact that you are a client, and anonymised results, in our marketing — tell us if you would rather we did not.
15.Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end an order if payment is reversed, if clause 8 is breached, or if the information supplied turns out to be false. You may cancel at any time under the Refund & Cancellation Policy. Clauses that by their nature should survive — intellectual property, confidentiality, liability and governing law — do so.
16.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it, and the effective date at the top of this page tells you which that is. Material changes are announced on this page before they take effect.
17.Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Portugal, and the courts of Lisbon, Portugal have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of your own country of residence.
Please contact us first — almost everything is resolved by e-mail. EU consumers may also use the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
